Loved it when it came out. I think it was the first time I heard Prince. Liked Prince ever since.

I do remember when that Batman soundtrack came out in the summer. HUGE on MTV!
I loved the Batdance video with a jillion Vicky Vales. I also didn’t know Prince tried to make Kim Basinger a star singer too.
I vote for Let’s Go Crazy. Back in the day when a Cubs game would be in a rain delay, occasionally they’d show a program with highlights from the 1984 season. They played Let’s Go Crazy when they showed fans’ reaction to the game that clinched the division.
“Erotic City”, not the best, but an example of a catchy Prince song with classic Prince lyrics that are blatantly about sex.
