I like beer bottles that require an opener, rather than the new-fangled twist-off caps. The twist-off action somehow cheapens the experience of opening a bottle of beer. If I have a beer that’s got a twist-off cap, I still use an opener on it. ---

McDonald novels, Issac Asimov, Robert Bloch, Ray Bradbury, and a dozen others now gone. Sending away for something in the back of a comic book or Boys Life. Cracker Jack spit tatoos. Eating watermellon with all my cousins. Sure, I could still do it but who wants to have to listen to all those grumpy old people? Cap guns. Drive-ins. Cheap gas. Fire towers. Dirt bikes (it’s all four wheelers now). Okay, now I’m sad. ---

heres one I just recalled. I actually saw a drive thru dairy thing. Now Im curious and gonna go check it out, as I have never been to one. Its pretty small and looks like it has a small area for a car to pull up in, amd Im guessing someone comes out and asks how much milk you want, ? jas anyone ever seen or been to one of these? Defimately sounds old school though ---

Defimately sounds old school though Oberweis Dairy stores/restaurants/whatever you want to call them (around here anyway - NW Burbs of Chicago) have drive through windows. ---
