I’m disappointed. I thought there would be at least 5 “this person/place/thing sucks” jokes by now.
FWIW Kirby trivia. Scott and Fetzer, the parent company of Kirby also makes the only genuine Ginsu™ knives.
They don’t call me the colonel because I’m some dumbass army guy.
My brother had to buy a vacuum cleaner to deal with three dogs. He bought a Kirby and it does a good job on all that hair. It cost more than a regular deparment store vacuum, but he needed one that would clean up all that hair. The bonus is that they also can be used to shampoo the carpets and uplostered funiture.
I wouldn’t buy one. I don’t need that kind of power, but it sounds like you do.
Think of the extra cost as pet upkeep.
[With apologies to those who may be offended, in order to gratify those who are dissappointed by the lack of “suck” jokes…]
All this talk about vacuum cleaners reminds me of a put-down I heard about 10 years ago, when I was assigned to SAC:

Ok Baloo.
Nothing sucks like an Electrolux.
I have 2 cats, one of which is as longhair.
Recently I picked up a Fantom Thunder XLT.
Bitchin’!
It’s bagless, has a HEPA filter and is almost impossible to clog up. The design is really nice, all the accesories are on-board in a compartment, the handle converts to cleaning wand, and it’s reasonably light and easy to carry for an upright. In all - I’m extremely pleased. They run about $300.00 @ Target.
Kirby’s are really good also but they are heavy and they are a much greater investment.
