I hope Ivylass is OK! So Leonard & Rajeesh take a depressed Wolowitz to Vegas & set him up with a hooker, BUT the real fun is Sheldon locks himself out & Penny has to have him sleep over. One missed line that should have been- Sheldon: So where is our emergency key? Penny: In the bowl. Best parts: Penny having to sing ‘Soft Kitty’ and Sheldon’s response. Sheldon’s “All right… Good night.” The little playful look he gets when he one-ups someone is precious! Other comments? Bonus: HIMYM has Barney giving a fantastic explanation of who started the “wait three days to call” rule. It was Jesus. Also, Barney & Marshall text-flirt with Ted as a prank & it gets reallly awkward. ---

My sound went out on the closing comic bit where Leonard is opening his door, and Sheldon appears. I’m guessing it had something to do with Sheldon staying over Penny’s because she’s a friend with benefits. Can someone fill me in? ---

That was pretty much it “What were you doing over there?” “I was locked out of the apartment so I stayed with Penny, I also learned what it means to be a friends with benefits” Thats pretty much the gist. Also…How can you lock yourself out of an apartment with a top padlock like that? ---

Was hoping they were going to have a Sheldon-less episode when they left him out of the Vegas trip. He’s gone from being entertainingly nerdy and asocial to basically a very tall 6-year old. ---

I like how they keep teasing us with the possibility of Sheldon being sexual. First with Christine Buranski and now with Penny. As a nerd girl, the idea of Sheldon getting it on gives me the vapors. But they never let it get that far. BOOO!!! ---

I loved how they ended the sweet “Soft Kitty” moment with **“I’m sleepy now - get out.”** 😛 And the 20 questions - **"Are you Spock?"** Followed later by Penny’s **"Are you Star Wars?"** Not a big fan of HIMYM - IMO it has its moments/eps, but other weeks are unwatchable. But was lazy last night and watched it. Thought that overlong Barney story was just about the weakest part of a pretty weak show. Oh well - teach me to watch a show I am already predisposed against… ---

I’m fine, but the power supply on our home computer went kaplooey (that’s a technical term) and until Ivylad fixes it I can either use my daughter’s laptop (which has the touchpad mouse thing that I hate) or wait until I get to work. Are we to assume Sheldon is asexual? Does he not have sexual urges? It seemed like Penny might be willing to give him a kiss after she sang Soft Kitty, but then he said he was ready to go to sleep so that was that. And come on, Leonard…you KNOW what Sheldon is like. Why the stricken look when he said he now understood Friends with Benefits better? I wonder how much that hooker was. ---

Sheldon is basically childlike. So he probably has only the vaguest notions of “urges”. BTW, Sheldon/Jim Parsons was on Letterman last week. Same mannerisms and voice. The dude isn’t acting. (Which is disappointing.) Nice to see Wolowitz is smart enough to catch on. ---

I’ve had the sound cut out on two different HD episodes that I received over antenna. I thought this episode was great, I don’t know exactly where they’re going with the Sheldon and Penny “friendship” but it’s interesting anyway.
