There will undoubtedly be more relationship strife, and it’s not like these guys had really stable relationships going anyway. This could all be a setup for some of the anticipated/dreaded/inevitable gimmicks, babies, divorce, and Sheldon doing it. The kiss gave me false hope that the writers had figured out that Sheldon and Penny belong together. Maybe they’ll get it right in the end and do a big SO shift among the characters. ---

IIRC, Raj got gradually turned off by Emily’s affection for horror and gore. Their last date was in a cemetery, and although he wimped out and said he loved her, we haven’t seen her since. So I’m assuming he’s just avoiding her, hoping she’ll take the hint. ---

Now that I think about it, Sheldon’s bad behavior over being dumped shows personal growth. At least he’s acting like a real boy. The last time they broke up, he went and got himself some pussies. Lots and lots of them. If I remember correctly, his mother had to be called in for an intervention. ---

Mmm. Hadn’t thought of that. Sheldon’s mom has repeatedly proven to be the only force in nature that can MAKE him sit down and think about what he’s done, and perhaps even admit to some guilt, even when he doesn’t want to. Wonder how long that will continue to be funny? ---

Leonard, Penny, and Sheldon still need to work out their living arrangements. That’s a couple of episodes worth of material. IRL, I think Penny and Sheldon would just swap apartments. I think they Leonard could sell it to Sheldon by mentioning since people congregate at the larger apt, if Sheldon moved to the smaller one, less germs. He wouldn’t have to share his bathroom with ANYONE. And no roommate agreement would be necessary. But this isn’t IRL. ---

Sheldon voluntarily making as big a change as moving across the hall with all it entails? Not just the physical moving, but all the change of address forms, the switching names on the mailboxes, his retraining of his nervous system to be ready to turn right when he climbs the stairs to the fourth floor instead of turning left. As we are endlessly reminded, Sheldon is a firm advocate of homeostasis. This would never stand!
