I fully expected a ‘Bazinga!’ out of Sheldon when he told Penny that it hurt his feelings when he opened up to her and she dismissed it. It seems they are trying to make Sheldon more human lately. I don’t know if I think that’s a good or bad thing. ---

I was half expecting something to have started to develop between Sheldon and Penny in Leonard’s absence. Then again, I’ve been expecting something between the two of them for a long time - that would be an interesting story arc… I do feel like the show may be past its prime - I wasn’t really impressed with either episode. Maybe because I was tired… ---

My favorite line was the one from Amy after Bernadette referring to her boyfriend as “kinda Sheldon”: “And your husband is _extremely_ Howard, so what’s your point?” ---

I liked both episodes, particularly Amy and Bernadette having some interaction away from Penny, so they can talk science together and get all the male attention. I wonder if they’ll ever do an episode about Penny’s drinking too much. Seems like she has a glass in her hand in almost every scene, like they might be directing the story arc towards that end. ---

No, in the first episode, when Penny and Sheldon were sharing ‘a moment’, Penny said she did a topless scene in a movie that never was released. And Sheldon said he saw that scene, which Howard found on the internet. Found right after he met Penny. And that was scene that Drunk Leonard was showing to all his North Sea friends.
