Sooooo, I’d have to add _revisionist history_ the “Big List of Things that Suck.” As well as Creationism and Intelligent Design in the public schools. ---

But that’s a long story, so I just shortened it to raspberry-flavored iced tea. Oh, did I mention Tortured Acronyms (TAs)? ---

Ignorant Tourists. Hardly a week goes by without some tourist - usually American - making a scene about local buildings. See, many buildings here have the swastika incorporated into the brick or tile work. “How can you have THAT there?!” “Ohmigawd, I can not stay in the place that THAT on the ceiling…” I often get yelled at for walking into places, “How can YOU patronize a place owned by THOSE kind of people…” I had many flights where the people in the seat next to me complained about “all those Nazis” and “why doesn’t somebody round them up and arrest them…” Well, if you had actually fuckin’ read anything about local culture, tradition, and custom you would realize that our “swastika” is has nothing to do with the symbol of the Third Reich.
