That was the testimony.

Even stranger, is that the prosecution did not want to put Roy Kronk on the witness stand. It was Juan Baez who called Roy Kronk and Roy Kronk’s son to testify about finding the body.

Don’t you think it is odd, unusual, unexplainable, for the prosecution to not call the finder of the body to the witness stand? Have you ever heard of any other case of a missing dead child where “the state” did not call the person who found the missing body?

???

You realize, of course, that you just gave a motive for Roy Kronk to want to hide the body for 4 months??

What the heck are you talking about?

Sorry, I have never ever seen any **“episodes of Law and Order”**. I think that is a television show? Is that what you are basing all of your thoughts on?

I think if you are basing your opinions on television shows, you are going to be disappointed, wrong, disillusioned, biased, and misinformed. Although I dont watch this show you that you watch, in my experience, other tv shows and movies I have seen are highly fictional, for example, my bullets do not create sparks everytime I shoot something, I dont do fast draw shootouts with the bad guys, most police detectives do not allow private investigators/Peter Gun to just walk into their office anytime they want and solve the detectives crimes.

I think you should forget tv and movies.

That is not true. YOu are deliberately misleading and attributing false information about me and what I have said. That is a violation of Straight Dope rules. I suggest you take it back and apologize. If you continue to make false statements about me or what I said I will report you.

For the record, I never said George allowed Caylee to drown in the pool. I also have no idea how Caylee died. I do not know what George did, and I dont believe anything he says, or anything he said. The fact that George’s testimony is evasive, combative, non responsive, and in direct contradiction of the more believable River Cruise testimony, I dont believe that George went to River Cruise’s apartment to console her, etc means that George is a liar. Be that as it may, however, it is possible that Caylee drowned in the pool, a much more likely scenario, and more common cause, than dying by an overdose of Chloroform. “If” Caylee drowned in George’s pool, then George would naturally, as the pool owner, be criminally responsible. Of course , that is speculation. It is also a speculation that the defense lawyers made.

It might be odd, it might not be odd. I have no preconceived notions about it. What are the numbers here? Percentage of civilian “body-finders” who testify?

I do assume that when law enforcement finds the body first, they’ll just about always testify.

I asked you about this in another thread, or maybe it was this one. Can you give me one example of a child’s guardian being held criminally responsible for an accidental drowning? Shouldn’t be hard, as drowning is the #1 cause of death for children age 4 and under in Florida.

I simply linked to YOUR OWN WORDS that seem to strongly imply that you believe George allowed Caylee to drown. YOUR OWN WORDS. I didn’t misrepresent YOUR OWN WORDS by linking to YOUR OWN POSTS.

The second post I linked to says this:

Those words strongly imply that you believe (or at least, believed at the time you posted those words) that George allowed Caylee to drown, or was at least negligent enough that Caylee drowned under his watch.

Report away. I’d like to see what the mods say.

Saying that George had the expertise to cover it up (being a retired LEO) and that he had motive for covering it up - since he was babysitting the child and didn’t have a fence or cage installed around the pool - is pretty much saying that you think George was involved.

I never said Roy Kronk was the brightest bulb of the lot. Besides, I tend to believe Roy’s story about August 11 and 12. It is my guess that Roy did try to do the right thing and report something that looked liked Caylee’s body. His actions on August 11 and August 12 are quite believable, for the most part anyways. I wont quibble about small details, like not going another 7 feet to actually check out the body. It is possible that Roy DID check out the body/skull on August 11 and that Roy DID really know, verify , that it was a skull, which explains why he was persisitant in the beginning about having the cops come out.

However, I don’t believe for a NY minute what he said or did from August 13 thereafter. His own son testified that Roy lied about what he said or did after August 13. I believe the testimony of the serviceman in the Coast Guard. Who knows what Roy Kronk did with the body from August 13 untl December. Apparently, the prosecution is as perplexed or as mad at Roy as I am since the Prosecution did not want Roy, nor Roy’s son, to testify. That is VERY significant!!!

He could be. I think it is standard procedure based on historic cases, that the family is always a prime suspect in a murder case, and the state wants us to think of this as a murder.

George, Casey, Cindy would be, should be, the prime 3 suspects.

George would certainly have the motive to coverup. George was the “1” person in the entire trial whose testimony was combative, evasive, non-responsive, in contradiction to River Cruise, nonsensical(I can tell you right now that George didn’t go to River Cruises house just “to console her”). It was George’s pool. It was George’s tape. George was lying. George had a motive. Accusations of Georges abuse were not checked out.

Objectively, there certainly is more evidence and suspicion that points to George, than there is to either Cindy or Casey or Lee.
