Between Jorg Haider and Jean-Marie Le Pen, you’d think that _any_ right-wing electoral success in Europe would be front page news. 2. Granted, I haven’t been paying all that much attention since I left England and no longer had to worry about the National Front beating me up, but isn’t “of course we welcome the immigrants that are already here” rather a change of tack for the BNP? All I remember is, “don’t let any more in, and send the ones who are already here back”… ---

no, it’s not got to do with enough seats, it’s that they are running enough candidates in enough wards to qualify for the party political broadcast. the most worrying thing (aside from their bullshit politics) is that they are getting enough money to run all these candidates. ---
