# The board is getting slow again!!

Its been slow for me lately too, but not nearly as bad as it was before Jerry’s fix a few months ago.

Things have been noticeably slower for me over the last week or so (perhaps longer) as well. I get time-outs on posts fairly frequently during the day. Cable Modem at home, so my connection is good.

Yeah, this morning it took 13 minutes for a post I made in MPSIMS to go through.

I noticed that in busy forums like MPSIMS and the Pit, posts will appear in bunches. For example, in MPSIMS, four different threads had their last posts all appear at 11:19 AM PDT. It’s unlikely that this would happen by chance, so it’s a sign that there is a bottleneck somewhere and posts made that were _made_ at different times will _appear_ at the same time.
