What gets me is how all the teenage girls look exactly the same. They usually travel in packs (especially in the mall), and I would be hard put to distinguish any one of them from the rest. They have the same tight clothes (all with the same brand logos), the same longish straight blond hair, and all of them seem to have cell phones surgically attached to their faces. I think I’m getting old. ---

Yeah, but if they’re in the mall, they’re the trendy, cliquish ones, so of course they all look like each other. Not all teenage girls strive for total conformity; just that the ones who do, succeed to a migraine-inducing level. ---

Contraceptive pills Tight clothes Low necklines Wonderbras Combine 2 or more from the list above and you get busty teens. My boobs grew 2 cup sizes in 2 months when I started the pill, my sisters were the same, I’d guess hormones have more to do with this than you might think. ---

**Irishgirl** , which pill did you go on and where can I find it? I’d like a piece of that action.l My pill has had absolutely no effect on my boobs, but then it is a super low-dosage kind (allesse). ---

As the mother of a fourteen year old girl, I can assure you it’s not the food or the milk. And mine doesn’t wear tight clothes, because I would lock her in her room forever and ever amen. All I know is, one day she came out of her bedroom with a rack and very nearly caused me to have an anuerysm. I wept as I took her to buy new bras. None of her friends are tight-clothing girls, either, all of them are into the grungy, punky, flannel shirts and pants-so-big-you-could-fit-a-family-of-five-in-them look. And they’re all built like Amazons. I don’t know what happened, but I want it to stop. Me, I buy the shirts with the boobs already in 'em. ---

In a similar question in GQ, someone posted a cite which indicated that testicle size in the fathers had a lot to do with it. Seems that promiscous males tend to have larger testicles and their daughters physically mature very rapidly as a side effect. Frankly, as much as I like boobies and scantily clad wimmins, I am getting a bit creeped out by _my own_ reaction to seeing girls young enough to be my kid wandering around like they do.
