So I guess we’re actually just getting the next season of The Mandalorean. It’s actually kind of sad what they’ve done to Boba on this series. Dude has had about 10 seconds of screen time and zero lines in 2 episodes in his self titled series. ---

Bit of a deep cut, but: my daughter on seeing the ant droids said “Wow, it’s like a [Cyriak](https://www.youtube.com/user/cyriak/playlists?app=desktop) video!” Also: yeah, remember when the series was about Boba Fett? At his point it’s looking like a “here’s what’s happened between episodes of The Mandalorian” filler. ---

I’ve gotten more enjoyment out of the last two episodes of Boba Fett than I did the entire three movies from the newest trilogy. ---

I enjoyed watching the episode and I yelled at the tv a lot, but I wouldn’t say it was good as a cohesive episode. I need a little more substance over the style, even if I loved every second of it. I try not to judge the Disney+ shows until the end of the season because I don’t know where they’re going and they’re non-traditional, but this season is kind of all over the place, like it doesn’t know if it wants to be a cowboy show, a gangster show, Dances with Wolves, or what. I like it, but it’s just muddled as a whole. ---

You guys arnt gonna say anything about the CGI?? WAS that CGI and not an actor for Hamill to dub over? Im gonna guess that its easier to do that kind of work in an outdoor setting. Cause I am SUPER-sensitive to the uncanny valley. Last Luke ep, the Rogue One guys…had me wanting to kill it with fire. This ep I totally bought in…visually. Pretty sure the rule of drama will have Grogu pick the armor rather then us practically never see him again. As for Luke continuing to further the Jedi lack of attachment bullshit…Luke, “This is why you fail.” ---

Pretty close, yeah. I thought there were occasional shots where it looked like maybe he had just had a Botox treatment or some plastic surgery or something, and the skin was just _bit_ off, and just a _bit_ plastic-looking, but in most of the shots, if I didn’t know better, I would never have guessed it was CGI. In contrast, I thought Luke’s appearance in the season finale of _The Mandalorian_ was in Uncanny Valley territory. ---

1. Luke looked a lot better. However, all of his lines sounded…well, like they were recorded separately in a recording studio. I know they were, but they shouldn’t sound like they were. Sound mix and overall recording of Mark Hamill was not great. 2. What are we watching? I…uh…I was enjoying the Boba Fett show. I can’t believe it switched over to making Fett an extra in his own show. This is incredibly strange. I’m kind of shocked at the last two episodes. ---

What I’d love to see…eventually…is a classy removal of the Rey trilogy. I’m not sure how (this is a deep cut) but something like the end of Battle for the Planet of the Apes where we get a possibility that the future has been averted, but we arnt quite sure. What with the Jedi being clairvoyant, I think it can be done. Something about choosing our own futures, etc…so long as we avoid anything involving actual time travel. Man some people would shit a brick and it would be 100X the 2016 Ghostbusters shitstorm. ---

Disney isn’t stupid. They know that they _ **need** _ Grogu to co-star in season 3 of Mando. So _of course_ the chainmail. Also, Yoda’s lightsaber is still way too big for Grogu’s hands. ---
