The Jedi/Sith are the Olympic athletes - they have the highest naturally occurring connection to the Force, and they spend years training so that they know exactly how to use it for the best effect. ---

I think “partially digested by the Sarlacc” explains why he looks older. I just did my best to suspend my disbelief when it came to his weight. I still couldn’t stop myself from thinking, “That armor’s not going to be terribly effective if someone attacks him from the side,” though. ---

They list Fett’s birth year as “32 BBY” (32 years Before the Battle of Yavin), and Luke’s birth year as 19 BBY. As _The Mandalorian_ and _The Book of Boba Fett_ take place around 9 ABY, that’d make Fett 41 years old in these shows. Clearly, it’s not the years, it’s the mileage. 😉 ---

His fight scenes were atrocious. The first one, from the first episode, was just slow and lumbering. Then, all the rest looked like they were sped up in post-production to make them look “normal.” Unfortunately, the sped-up effect made it seem like Yakety Sax could’ve kicked in at any moment. ---

I suppose it could be argued that as a clone he aged differently, even though he wasn’t given the Super-Duper Aging Serum that the rest of the clones were given. ---

Ultimately, of course, it comes down to a 60 year old actor, who’s gotten a little heavier in the middle (as many 60 year olds do), playing a character who’s two decades younger. ---

Seeing how they use the same word to measure space _and_ time in this galaxy, I just figure aging and distance are kind of meaningless in Star Wars. ---

The fact that he fought just as poorly with his helmet on - when he could have easily been played by a stuntman - indicates that the problem was more with the direction, not the actor.
