Marie Curie never won the Nobel Peace Prize, but she was recognized for her achievements in chemistry (1911) as well as physics (1903). She’s still the only person to be honored for [two different sciences](http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Marie_Curie), although Linus Pauling added the 1962 Peace Prize to his 1954 chemistry Nobel. ---
