This is a thread about an abrupt rise of tidal water moving rapidly inland from the mouth of an esturay? But, that _would_ be something to see, and if it rose all the way up to where they had been boring the well, it would fill up the well from the top down, instead of the bottom up, and then would it still be a well? And can’t we assume that it’s salt water? In that case, all the boring would be a waste, because, typically, one goes boring for fresh water, and when fresh water and salt water mix, well let me tell you, it’s not a tasty combination. I kind of like that image of the well filling up from the top down, instead of the bottom up, don’t you? But with fresh water of course, but we’ve covered that already haven’t we? I don’t want to dwell on this, or harp on a subject that already been explored to death, it gets a bit tedious to play the same old song, like a broken record–some people can be so long winded, you know? Just going on and on . . . and on . . . and on. . . . . . . . . .

As I can’t think of anything sufficiently boring now, I’ll just have to say that this thread is so monotonous, it’s putting me to sleep… it’s also inducing ennui. (it doesn’t help matters if it’s past midnight, either)

…and I am here sitting at my desk at the office…feeling as bored as anybody can ever feel…lots of work waiting to be done… I don’t feel like doing anything…I need to be entertained…SDMB always provides good entertainment…not that I am overlooking the enlightening aspect of our beloved boards, but anyway…I need entertainment more than enlightenment at the moment…and look at the thread I am reading … and now I am bothering to post to it… I am not onlþy bored… I feel genuinely boring too!!
I really feel comfortable right here…
