# The Boys: Mexico (Not the official title) may appear at some point

So it looks like [Erik Kripke, Diego Luna, and Gael Garcia Bernal would executive produce the series](https://variety.com/2023/tv/news/the-boys-spinoff-mexico-amazon-1235811650/). No idea what it would be about, but hopefully it would be as good as The Boys or Gen V. The guy who wrote _Blue Beetle_ will be the writer, but I didn’t see it so I can’t comment on that aspect. Just don’t overinflate it the way Marvel seems to have done.

_Blue Beetle_ was pretty poorly written overall. So not a glowing endorsement there.

But I was surprised by how good Gen V was, so hopefully this is good.

Spoilers for The Boys and Gen V: Do you think Sam will be the new Black Noir?

In regards to Gen V: it was really good. London Thor and Lizze Broadway already sound like superhero names anyway, and they’re two of the most interesting characters.
