BubbaDog sounds like he was a very special dog. He will be missed but never forgotten. Do you have any pictures you’d like to share? “The” [Hello Again](http://phatlewt.wedge.net/bbs/download/file.php?id=21) passed on in 2004. I consider my username as her memorial, and she was an infernal know-it-all so it’s ever so fitting that “she” hangs around here. ---

I am sorry for your loss. I had to put down my Cassie Girl at the end of last year and I still miss her. She made it to 16 which was a very long life for a dog her size. I can understand not wanting another dog right away. You could try fostering though. It is a great way to help unwanted shelter dogs get accustomed to living in a home and makes them more adoptable. You may even fall in love with one and decide to adopt it yourself 🙂 ---
