So can this ad campaign be effective? Creep the hell out of your potential customers? It has a lot of people talking about Burger King, I guess there’s no such thing as bad press. But I didn’t eat there before and I don’t eat there now, the commercials don’t really affect me one way or the other. ---

Ok, you know that scene in The Godfather where the guy wakes up next to the severed horse head? I’d rather wake up to a severed horse head - hell, I’d rather wake up _naked_, in a strange person’s bathtub, with my underwear on my head and a carrot in my navel, beside a severed horse head with no recollection of how I got there or what happened, than wake up beside the Burger King. ---

Just to let people who haven’t seen it in on the secret, it’s a tie in to King Kong. One of the damn finest tie-in commercials I’ve seen in a long time. I like it. ---

I have not seen any of these commecials (probably since I almost never watch network TV). But I’ve gotta say that this is the goddamn funniest thread I’ve come across in months. I have tears streaming down my face trying not to laugh. Literally. ---

**AFG** , you should be glad they haven’t (yet) done a commercial with the King lurking in the shower with some heart-attack-on-a-stick sandwich, just waiting for some unsuspecting soul to draw back the curtain and reveal him. Of course, now that I’ve mentioned it, you’ll probably picture him next time you go to use the shower… ---

Oh man, this thread is hilarious. To everyone saying how stupid BK is for showing these, _people have different tastes_! I think it’s goddamn hilarious. It’s not like they’re skinning puppies; it’s just a gorram mask. ---

I’d like to add, to everyone who supports the King, one day you’re gonna be walking through a dark place somewhere and he’s gonna jump out and hump your leg or something, and then run away leaving you in a crying heap with a mayonnaise stain on your new pants. And then you’re gonna come and cry about how the King violated you, and I’m just gonna say well yeah, I tried to warn you but did you listen? Nooooooooo! ---
