After a day of maintenance, the message at login says all servers are operating normally. For the last hour or more I try to connect and am immediately disconnected from the server. Is anyone else having this problem? Even the WOW website won’t load for me. ---

It turns out that because Brownbino had logged into the arena tournament with his account on my computer, it was trying to connect me to that server, even though I had logged into my own account. Stupid bug. All better now. I know what you mean, Demo. I’ve had to wait \>7 mins, higher than #400 in the queue. Popular server, for some reason. ---

Okay, thanks to Frotty (I forget which one of you that is) I’ve been working the Test of Lore quest chain and I’m at the point where I need a book from the Scarlet Monastary Library to complete the chain and get my new wand. So what I’m saying is I want to get a group together to try the library again this weekend. Four of us tried it the other day and were less than successful, but I don’t have to get all the way through to get the book. On another note, I logged in last night and at around 8:45 CT there was no queue! So hopefully, we have turned a corner and the queues will be shorter. ---

I’ve got a couple SM quests as well. I’d be up for it tonight or tomorrow night. I have some stuff I’m doing Sat afternoon but I’m avail in the morning or evening…or Sunday. 😉 ---

I have the Test of Lore Library quest waiting too, and I’m eager to do Scarlet Monastary. I’m told it’s really worth doing the SM instances for the good drops. I think there’s a key we need to get in the Library too, to get access to the next SM instance. You experts will know better than I. Count Oombipbipyah in! ---

You get the Scarlet key from Doan’s Strongbox at the end of the Library section. You need this key to access the Cathedral and Armory sections of SM, and also a door in Stratholme. You do not need keys for the Library and Graveyard sections of SM. I’m told it takes a rogue with lockpicking skill of 175 to pick the doors. ---

I have that quest too. Count Rottingbird in as a dps slot. BTW that “Test of Lore” quest chain was annoying with all the running! ---

Lore was pretty easy for me, as I already had all the flightpoints (except Ashenvale). The only bad part was running all over 1000 Needles in the beginning. A group of us did the SM library last night. Wiped once, at the beginning. Had one other major scare but pulled through - the rest wasn’t bad. We missed Rottingbird but don’t worry, it’s worth running multiple times. (I got a great [robe](http://www.wowhead.com/?item=7711) and a [staff](http://www.wowhead.com/?item=7713), but would be willing to go back just for all the silver and silk that dropped). ---

Yeah, I wouldn’t mind running SM quite a bit. The money and XP is good and, once we start doing the Armory and Cathedral, the blue drops get even better. Don’t forget to pick up [Into The Scarlet Monastery](http://thottbot.com/?qu=1048) from Varimathras in UC(Obtained at level 33). I am going to go ahead and respec feral so I can tank a little better, too. edit: code fix ---

It’s in the Royal Quarters, right? And you did great tanking… there were very few times I had to heal anyone but you (and me, when I pulled too much aggro). ---

I like going because I need the experience with grouping in WOW, but there’s not much for me there, although the sword from Into the Scarlet Monastery sounds nice. Maybe the Armory and Cathedral will have stuff I can use. But I did enjoy the introduction to the magic world, and Zemerynn instilled mage-envy in me. I’m thinking of starting a blood-elf mage, so I can see a different slice of the wow world. ---

Announcements April 4, 2008 Call to Arms (classes) Mage and rogue look like they’re okay now, however we have been having trouble with tanks. A few people are leveling their tanks up (we have a lot of rolled tanks just not leveled ones) so we may be okay. On another note I’m sure Kene would like a break from being what seems to amount to the only healer right now. Again, this is encouragement, not requirement. (Okay to be fair, I think we have like two more healers but still) Officer’s Barracks Let’s all welcome our new vaultmaster, **Pleonast**! We could use one more, basically all you’re doing is keeping an eye on the money and using your discretion when you see too much withdrawl (or being the go to guy/gal when I’m not on and someone NEEDS more than their daily limit for a good reason). With the new thought of class tutorials I’m thinking of adding class leader positions but it’s not solid yet. Feel free to do input. They wouldn’t have any super-amazing free reign to do whatever they want like in some guilds (though I doubt anyone here is the type to abuse power that way anyway), but it would more be acting as a mentor to the newbies and such (i.e. you would be the person to go to for questions of different specs or how to use new, seemingly useless abilities). So think about if you think that would be a worthwhile position (or even if you’d like to be one). Dragon’s Hoard(Bank Affairs) Key Green = withdrawl Purple = Call to save money Orange = big donation We recently spent 10 gold on the tabard, and last I checked were at about 25 gold give or take. So now we’re onto our next target, a bank tab. At 100gp it’s a long road so as usual everyone’s encouraged to contribute when they can. Also, someone said they have 20g waiting for when we get close. Sorry that I can’t remember who you are, feel free to step up and claim it if you see this. ---
