A bunch of guys ran around for a while, some of them ran across the end zone line multiple times, the other side only managed that once. That sure was a whole lotta hype for this result. ---

I’m not much of a sports person - that sounds like all the hockey games I’ve ever seen. About all I really notice is goalie fights. 😃 ---

I’ve been PMing and emailing with Spoons a bit back and forth about my articling woes for a while. Now I found out that all my friends who were going to Heenan Blaikie got their offers pulled, as well! Is the collapse of such a big firm big news in Canada, or is it just so for me because of law school blinders? ---

Heenan Blaikie is a big player in Canadian law, with a number of well-known and respected lawyers, some of whom came to the firm after other careers. It was a little shocking to read the news item on this earlier today–they were a place that seemed to be in the “too big to fail” category.
