I went into a meeting this afternoon at 2-0. I came out and it was 2-2. I can’t believe that I missed that comeback… ---

Been crying since the goal. Looks like the women on both teams wear waterproof makeup (if they are wearing makeup) for good reason. ---

“#TeamCanada last lost a women’s Olympic ice hockey game 17 February 1998. 16 years, 3 days, counting.” Wow. (From the IOC twitter feed.) Jim just made a good point - Switzerland has a lot to be proud of - they’re the best in the world who _aren’t_ the US or Canada. Yay Switzerland! ---

America should have never left Bobby Ryan’s sister off the roster. I assume that he has a sister, and that she is good at hockey. ---

There is little I can say about the women’s gold medal game that has not already been said. So I’ll comment on this: Canada wins double gold in curling as Great Britain surrenders to the Brad Jacobs rink in the ninth end. Totally dominating performance by both teams. It says a lot about the depth of curling talent in Canada that is is not absolutely clear the Jacobs rink is the best curling team **in Canada** , and yet they won the gold medal with relative ease. ---

Just got this department-wide email from our (American) VP: > [@](#): > > First I’d like to thank all the over whelming support here in Waterloo for Team USA. > > I called all around and all the Team USA hockey jerseys are completely sold out. They do have plenty of Team Canada Jerseys. You do the math. > > Pizza & Wings will be here in time for the game at Noon. No slides. No talk. Just Hockey, Pizza, Wings & Beer! I love this country. 🙂 ---

As this is a live sporting event and the media saturation will make the results near impossible to avoid, yes, open spoilers are okay.
