8C out, apparently. I haven’t gone outside. I’m doing laundry because I assume that sooner or later I should pack a hospital bag (39w1d… I might have a baby one day). My car is actually kind of snowed in, and I have nowhere to go anyways. I have an ultrasound tomorrow, so I have that to look forward to. Baby’s position is bizarre, so they want to confirm he’s head down, and he might be on the small side since I haven’t gained weight in weeks (yay?). He moves incessantly and heartbeat is good, so the concern level is rather low. Tonight, I will go vote at the advance polls, since the election is the day after my due date (in a riding 100% guaranteed to go Liberal, so my vote is more about making myself feel like I’m doing my civic duty, rather than actually contributing to anything). I hate politics in this province and hate all the options. They are all scummy, lying, corrupt assholes. I always felt that if you WANTED to be a politician, you shouldn’t be allowed to be one. ---

After noticing that I’ve done nothing but bitch about the weather in this thread I thought I’d bitch about something else before this storm knocks out my power, Quebec. My Quebec friends have been posting a stream of these [stories](http://www.montrealgazette.com/opinion/Opinion+Seeking+right+vote/9679083/story.html) about anglo and allo-phone students having difficulties registering to vote. It makes me sad that this crap is happening in Canada. ---

A morality clause to become a law student at Trinity Western University? That doesn’t sound very 21st century. On a completely unrelated note, what do you guys think of [Justin Trudeau dropping the F-bomb at a charity event recently?](http://www.theglobeandmail.com/news/politics/justin-trudeau-shrugs-off-criticism-over-dropping-f-bomb-at-charity-boxing-match/article17747496/) My feeling is, meh, people swear, but I also question his judgement. If he plans to represent Canada on the international stage, I’d like to be sure that he’s not going to be an embarrassment. ---

Managed to get locked in on the holding cell floor on a tour after work in the basement of the courthouse that is set to open next week. Nice to know that it actually is secure, but would have preferred not to have found out that way. ---
