More along the lines of it was done in the US so it should be done here. The next question like “was it done well?” rarely seems to come up. ---

Oddly, seeing that giagantic prison/hospital complex was one of the highlights of my trip to Midlands/Penetang about a year ago. Oh, that and the family wedding we went to. But my nephew was really bugged out that of “all the things to do around here” you want to see THAT!? (Psych nurse curiosity.) ---

Having a Keith’s, watching the last regular season game of the game. Riders just scored. 7-1. (And no, we’re not at Taylor Field. When little bits of snow started coming down at 11 am, we made the executive decision we’d be watching the game at home.) ---

It wasn’t snowing or raining at the BC Lions game last night. We took our tenants from Spain to see the gaame, got tickets in the lower bowl 4/60. Kind of a shame. I don’t follow CFL football too much (except to love the Riders and hate the Blue Bombers with a firey passion) but I like going to the games. But seriously… worst…poutine…ever. Which is a shame, since as my son pointed out " a few years ago this building hosted the world…but we can’t get a “national dish” right. ---
