They don’t have the same milk brands in the US. Plus, apparently there’s some concerns over hormones in US milk, which isn’t allowed in Canadian milk, or so I heard (I don’t know a whole lot about these things.) ---

Friday was 65degrees F, a spectacularly sunny autumn day. We had weeks of Indian summer here, kept thinking it will probably turn next week, but no, it just kept delivering! Last night very cold Arctic air swept in bringing high winds, 5cm snow, and wild flurries, etc! Such a contrast! ---

A dumping of 25-30cm over about 36 hours made for a very sloppy start to the work week! After a brief break it’s back to snowing, but only 1cm expected to accumulate overnight so the shoveling job should be fine for tomorrow morning. I was hoping winter would ease its way in a bit more slowly, but no such luck. Maybe some of it will melt away? ---
