I seriously considered the Cruze, actually, but I just like the Elantra more. Had I disliked the Elantra on the test drive, I probably would have bought the Cruze. ---

Oooh, the National Lacrosse League is spreading the gospel of box lacrosse to Montreal in December! An [exhibition game](http://www.nll.com/news_article/show/184028?referrer_id=422054) between the Toronto Rock and the defending league champions, the Rochester Knighthawks, will be played at the Bell Centre on Dec. 15. I believe it’ll be the first NLL game to be played in Montreal since the 2002 season when the Express played their first and only season in the city. The franchise has since moved to Minnesota where they have developed into a solid team, although they have far and away the [ugliest uniforms](http://www.nll.com/photo_gallery/show/462342#8) in the league. But I digress. These are two of the best teams in the league, so it should be an interesting battle. With the odds of seeing any hockey in December dwindling, this might be a worthy distraction for sports fans in the Montreal area. 🙂 ---

I’d assume the NFL is a large part of this draw, as well. Not to mention _Caesar Sundays_. 🙂 Considering the number of TV screens in a decent sports bar nowadays, and the inexpensive tech to display a different game on each screen via NFL network, there is just no excuse for such a December issue as you bemoan to arise in a self-respecting sports bar. ---

IME around here, 4 NHL games = 4 TVs (at least) with NHL on them. But you might find one in a dark corner with a late-season NFL game on it. Actually, last night at my local curling club, one of the 2 TVs in the lounge was tuned to Thursday Night Football. The other was on CTV’s regular evening schedule. So even without opening night of the NHL, I still wasn’t getting playoff baseball down there. Jerks. To be fair, the 2012 Mustang has performed like a boss since we got her, but if Phil Edmonston hadn’t given it a 5-star rating, we might have given it a pass and tried to get a Hyundai Genesis Coupe instead. ---
