And on the Rob Ford front: He is ready to fight a war. It’s just like Kuwait all over again. Oh, and he mowed down a grandmother in council chambers while rushing to help his big brother in his altercation with “dangerous” members of the public who were shouting at him. Every. Single. Day. He just gets better and better. I’m waiting for him to show up to city council drunk out of his mind, throw up on his shoes and then challenge the deputy mayor to a cage match while stripping his shirt off. Then the next meeting, they’ll wheel him in Hannibal-Lecter style, strapped to a gurney with a mask across his face so he is not able to bite anyone. You can’t make this stuff up. ---

Rob has now had his “come to Jesus” moment. Even though he doesn’t go to church. He’s going to lose 50 pounds and stop drinking entirely. Great. A dry drunk who is hungry all the time. I don’t think that’s going to help his sociopathic tendencies. ---

Today I spotted three creatures previously thought to be mythical, elusive beings dwelling in remote snowy locations. Little proof of their existence has ever been recorded. No, not yeti. City of Saskatoon graders clearing snow. I hurriedly snapped a photo, but it’s kind of blurry and the graders are partially obscured by a sign. I’d post it, but no one will believe it isn’t 'shopped. ---

I wonder if Calgary gets more snow in general than Montreal does. Calgary is closer to mountains than Montreal (well, _real_ mountains. Montreal is near a bunch of hills.)
