Can you speculate on what they were trying to accomplish with that? I didn’t know that Canada was considered an Al Qaeda target. ---

I remember that back around the time of the Spanish train bombing, and the London tube bombing, some commentators mentioned that Canada was at that point the only western nation that participated in Afghanistan that had not been struck by al Qaeda in response. ---

My favourite part is where our former mayor, Dave Bronconnier, who was totally in the bag for at least one builder (his brother-in-law’s) had his lawyers answer questions for him rather than concede that he literally ran his mayoralty in exactly the way he described (allegedly) to Wenzel. Bronco was soooooooo dirty. He got out just before the chickens came home to roost. ---

It turned out to be kind of a damp squib, but it was a semi-legitimate terrorist plot. ---
