# The Case of the Disappearing Second Page

Of course, the minute I post this, it will be fixed.

When you are in the thread, it says there’s a second page, but when you look at it in the forum, it says there’s 49 posts and I’m the last one and there is no page 2.

What’s going on?

I’ve had it happen to me a couple of times. It seems to be a glitch in the board software. The first post on the 2nd page disappears until someone posts underneath it, then all is well.

Well… now the whole board seems to be… _gone_. All except for this thread. How odd. I have tried three times in the last half hour. ☹

And it’s such a _wonderful_ thread, isn’t it?

Seriously, I think that what the OP describes is a result of a post being deleted. If it happens at just the right time, such that the number of posts goes from above 50 to 50 or below, the board software doesn’t realize that it’s supposed to decrease the number of pages, so it still gives you the link for page 2. But if you try to go there, it finds it doesn’t have any posts to go on that page, so it doesn’t work.
