The case of the disappearing tomato

Another vote for a raccoon. They are there, whether you have seen one or not. That’s what was getting my parents’ tomatoes.

They are everywhere.

No one has mentioned possums yet, either. Maybe they don’t eat fruit, though.

Squirrels. They take my peaches while they are still hard and green, taste them and throw them away. Same with apples. Same with flower bulbs, except they do eat those I think. I wouldn’t be surprised to see a squirrel pick a green tomato, carry it off then throw it away.

Squirrels: Head lice of the forest.

He’s just trying to make a living.

I vote squirrel or raccoon.
