Or Gordon Jump? From Reuters: Actor Gordon Jump, who portrayed a radio station manager on the comedy television series ‘WKRP in Cincinnati’ and who also portrayed the lonely Maytag repairman in television commercials, died September 22, 2003 in Los Angeles. Jump, shown in this undated publicity photograph as the repairman, died at his home south of Los Angeles, succumbing to the lung disease pulmonary fibrosis, stepson Chris McKeever told Reuters. Actually it’s Quantity, Not Quality. To discourage people from just loaded up with a bunch of minor celebrities who’ve passed their 100th birthday, the “one hundred minus age at death” rule was created. Anyone could predict some 107 year old blues musician is on borrowed time, but it takes real foresight to guess which 25 year old rock star is going to OD in any given twelve month period. But some people prefer to go for a high body count rather than focus on the points, so for them we have the QNQ prize. ---

If everyone on my list dropped dead before the deadline, I still could not beat a 115 score by **Cisco**. So, that said, rather than be depressed at all my research and carry-over’s from the years, I have decided to offer my four measley points up for sale to help be a multi-gigawatt clusterfock of a tie breaker for those stuck at 44 points. I’m hopeless, beyond redeption in this year’s horse race. There is still a chance to save your dignity and self esteem with cold hard greenbacks. Think of me as \*\* St. Shirley, Patron Saint of the Dead Pool ™\*\* Starting bid is at $1.00 Date of bidding to end: December 31, 2003: 11:59pm.
