Former Pittsburgh Steeler Justin Strzelczyk done [blowed himself up](http://sports.yahoo.com/nfl/news;_ylc=X3oDMTBpZ2NvMjltBF9TAzk1ODYxMDU5BHNlYwN0aA--?slug=ap-obit-strzelczyk&prov=ap&type=lgns). I’d doubt anybody picked him, but after reading his history, it’s sure possible someone saw something like this coming. “[Strzelczyk] died Thursday in a fiery head-on collision with a tanker truck after he led state troopers on a 40-mile highway chase during morning rush hour.” "He was going down the road, flipping off the troopers. He even threw a beer bottle at them,’’ “Nine months after his release by the Steelers, Strzelczyk was arraigned for illegal possession of a gun. Police said he slammed a loaded handgun onto a bar in Pittsburgh when discussing the presidential election with a friend.” :eek: I tend to avoid having “friends” who slam loaded handguns down on bars during a political debate. ---

John Cerutti, who pitched for the Toronto Blue Jays before becoming a color commentator on the American League team’s broadcasts, was found dead in his hotel room Sunday. Cerutti, 44, had been scheduled to appear on the telecast of the team’s final game of the season. Oh, hush. I left my disk (with the master list on it) at the office over the weekend and then realized the scoreboard is exactly the same as Sep. 1st, excepting your vault into second place. So I ain’t gonna sweat it this month. And nobody picked Gordo Cooper. ---
