I just heard an unconfirmed report on the radio that Ossie Davis has died. According to the IMDB, he was 87. ---

I’m sorry to say I’d not heard of him. by just googling around a bit I got a huge number of hits. But personally I can say it bums me out. I looked up his birthdate, 7/5/1904. He was not quite 5-1/2 months older than my grandmother, who is still with us.This news reminds me to cherish what time I have left with her. ☹ ---

Even though nobody picked Karl Haas, I believe that the passing of the man merits mention in this thread.
