I notice that [Louis Robichaud](http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Louis_Robichaud), former premier of New Brunswick, died on January 6 and no one mentioned it. **Sevo** had chosen him in his/her list. I think that makes him the earliest death of the year for the people in this pool, unless we also neglected someone else. ---

[William Bell,](http://www.suntimes.com/output/television/cst-nws-xbell01.html) who co-created the soap operas _The Young and the Restless_ and _The Bold and the Beautiful_, died Friday at the age of 78. Also, Mexican television performer Mariana Levy died Friday at the age of 39 (according to the report linked below) or 40 (according to the birthdate listed on her [IMDb bio](http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0506527/)). Whoa…I was going to check my list around the six month mark – I hadn’t realized he died, either. Here I thought my only points this year would be 'da Pope. [Lloyd Cutler,](http://www.cnn.com/2005/POLITICS/05/08/obit.cutler.ap/index.html) who served as White House counsel during the Carter and Clinton administrations, has died at 87. Cutler had recently served on the commission charged with investigating the intelligence failures which had led President George W. Bush to conclude Iraq was harboring weapons of mass destruction. ---

My apologies for not doing an update in a while. I have only a few updates to make, and none of the changes affects the leading scorers, so I won’t retype the whole scoreboard now. First off, my apologies to **amarone** and **VunderBob** ; as **severus** correctly pointed out, **Sevo** has the first dead celebrity of the year, with Louis Robichaud dying Jan. 6th; Charlie Bell died Jan. 17th. I guess I’m not up on my Canadian politicians. 😉 The Opening Kickoff Award will go to **Sevo**. Other than that, the only updates are as follows: **Sevo** gets 21 points for Louis Robichaud, and now has 37 points. **Yllaria** joins the game with 28 points for the death of Frank Gorshin, under Rule 5, since there is a question regarding his age at death. **BadBadger** gets 3 points for Sir John Mills, and now has 19 points. All of these are unique picks! Good job! And nobody picked Redmond Simonsen, Edward Bronfman, Dale Messick, Debralee Scott, Frank Conroy, Andrea Dworkin, Johnnie Johnson, Margaretta Scott (she played Mrs. Pumphrey on _All Creatures Great and Small_, you know), Ruth Hussey, Stan Levey, Philip Morrison, Sir Eduardo Paolozzi, Sir Joh Bjelke-Petersen, Al Grassby, Mason Adams, William J. [Howard Morris,](http://www.ernestt.com/) who played Ernest T. Bass on five memorable episodes of the _Andy Griffith Show_, dies Saturday at the age of 85. In his long and varied career, Morris did everything from acting in Shakespearean theater to performing comedy sketches wuth Sid Caesar and Imogene Coca to directing the film adaptation of Woody Allen’s _Don’t Drink the Water_. ---
