A couple kinda theological celebrities- Robert Funk, founder of the Jesus Seminar, born 1926, died Sept 3- now he knows if he was right or not. Dr. M. Scott Peck, author of THE ROAD LESS TRAVELED and PEOPLE OF THE LIE, psychiatrist, liberal Christian activist, exorcist, Sept 27 of cancer, age 69. ---

[Shawntinice Polk,](http://www.tucsoncitizen.com/breaking/092605polk.php) a senior center on the University of Arizona’s women’s basketball team, died Monday at the age of 22. Polk, a three-time all-Pac 10 selection, was expected to contend for such prestigious awards as the Wade Trophy while leading the Wildcats to a likely NCAA tournament berth this coming season. ---

At least the Google ad in this thread is context sensitive – I know that Alan Alda is included on at least a few death pool lists. But I’m not sure you really want the ad for your autobiography showing up in this thread – it’s probably not a good sign. ---

I have misplaced my Dead Pool 2006 Potentials list. You have no idea (ok, maybe you sicko’s do) of how this is bothering me. I made the mistake of taking it to bowling to pop the cherries on DP with our three newbie bowlers. They think I am very odd…yet…supplied me with names this week. ---
