The stress on his body from trying to kick heroin probably contributed to his heart attack, but drugs or not, that guy wasn’t going to keep going long with the health problems he had. ---

[Fayard Nicholas,](http://www.forbes.com/technology/feeds/ap/2006/01/25/ap2475973.html) who with his brother Harold formed the athletically creative Nicholas Brothers dance team of stage and screen fame, has died at the age of 91. Harold, who was born seven years after Fayard, had passed away in 2000. Fred Astaire believed that the greatest movie musical number he had ever seen was the brothers’ “Jumpin’ Jive” sequence in the 1943 film _Stormy Weather_. ---

I believe she was born Anna Hotop (admittedly an unusual surname - according to Wikipedia, she’s of Irish, German, Cherokee heritage) and she later married someone named Stout (I believe she was married to adult film actor Hank Armstrong, who like many adult film actors probably used a stagename, but I don’t know if Stout was his real name). ---
