Quickie scoreboard update, and then I have an announcement to make: The only change to the scoreboard from last time is that **gaucho** scores 16 points with the unique pick of Norman Mailer. Congratulations, **gaucho**! Nobody picked Peg Bracken, Sam Dana, Lillian Ellison, Paul Fox, Augustus F. Hawkins, Jim Hawthorne, Martha Kostyra, Eve Curie Labouisse, Ira Levin, Hy Lit, Delbert Mann, Dick Nolan, Joe Nuxhall, George Osmond, Ricky Parent, George Ratterman, Linda Stein, Paul Tibbetts, Sigrid Valdis, Porter Wagoner, Dick Wilson, or John Woodruff. It has been my pleasure to serve as your Gatekeeper of Death since taking over from our noble **Little Nemo** a few years ago. However, I regret that I have been unable to devote the time this game really requires to this year’s game, and I do not foresee my situation changing any time in the near future. With that in mind, I am passing the torch to our fearless friend **amarone** , who will be taking over from me with the 2008 game. In the words of the Wizard of Oz: “Obey him as you would me.” (In other words, start sucking up now.) I will of course finish the scoring for the 2007 game sometime in January. Yours in death, **a35362** ---
