You get the knowledge that if you had just moved him up, and someone else down (someone you used who probably won’t kick off anyway, and surely not worth so many points) then you could be celebrating a likely unique, many pointed, pick. But now you will haunted by the old cliche of “Close only counts in horse shoes and hand grenades.” Life ( and death) can sometimes be so unfair… ---
