I think it’s a sign I’m a jaded bastard when my first thought is “good thing primary filming is done on The Dark Knight.” And my second thought is “and Heath Ledger has such heavy makeup that a stand-in is reasonable for any post production filming.” ---

This is where I go for all things dead so I thought I’d ask you guys about this. Yesterday there was a headline on the front page of AOL stating that Richard Kline died (best known probably as Larry from _Three’s Company_ but he has done a ton of other stuff). It was up for a little bit then disappeared. I have not seen anything else about it. Nothing I can find is reporting the death. I know I didn’t hallucinate, my wife saw it too. So, did anyone else see it? Was it a screwup that they covered well enough that I was the only one to see it? Is he in fact dead or in some state of undead? ---

John Stewart died. (No _not_ the one from the Daily Show who may be hosting the Oscars and who spells his name Jon.) This John Stewart was a member (but not an original member) of the Kingston Trio way back in the 1960’s. He then started a solo career probably best known for his album “California Bloodlines”. Perhaps his biggest solo hit was 1979’s “Gold”. (_There’s people out there turning music into gold_) Remember? ---

Thompson was told, “I’m sorry Mr Thompson but you’re going to have to check those bags under your eyes. We don’t seem to have enough room for them in the overhead bin or under your seat.” I’m not Fred Thompson and I didn’t pay for this ad. Now back to the Celebrity Death Pool 2008. ---
