Both series may continue. Peter Heck has been doing the Phule books and Jody Lynn Nye as been doing the MYTH books. Aspirin’s name was on them, but he was only providing the ideas, not the actual writing. ---

[Earle Hagen,](http://www.thestar.com/News/Obituary/article/431950) the prolific composer who co-wrote “Harlem Nocturne” and whistled the _Andy Griffith Show_ theme he penned, has died at the age of 88. Hagen’s other composing credits include the _Dick Van Dyke Show_ theme and the scores for numerous episodes of _I Spy_. ---
