You know, I haven’t even checked in with this thread since I made my picks last year. I can’t even remember who I picked, but I think Estelle Getty was one. In fact, I think I picked all four Golden Girls. Maybe I’ll get a few points. 🙂 ---

Strange that Estelle Getty was a year younger than Bea Arthur (and Betty White, too), but played her mother on Golden Girls. I’m getting vulture-y, waiting for some spectacularly tragic celebrity death. Wait, we don’t get extra points for spectacular tragicness, do we? Maybe if the soon-to-be-pedestrianized Bob Novak got hit by a car or something. ---

FYI-- Amy Winehouse has been hospitalized for a “reaction to medication”. I’m not in the pool, but I’ll be \*very surprised if she sings “Auld Lang Syne”. ---

Busy, busy bit-part actor [Paul Sorensen.](http://www.ultimatedallas.com/dallasnews/2008/07/23/dallas-actor-paul-sorensen-dies-at-82/) Unlike Charles Lane, another busy, busy actor whom everyone recognized, but had an unmistakable face, though, Sorensen was such an average everyman, that I’ve never been able to pick him out. I think he was in every episode of every TV program from the 60s and into the 70s. ---
