Okay, when I did a regular list I only get one, or at most two, deaths. So like I said I’m going to post the top twelve vote getters as of post #368, when I last totaled, plus one long shot(and with that one, we’d all win!) OK, here goes. I have jettisoned most of my 2008 list and am starting fresh. 1. Patrick Swayze. He’s looking pretty good lately, actually, but I don’t want to be like the one person who doesn’t score points for this one. 2. Amy Winehouse. I actually think she’s indestructible, but if I’m wrong, mega-points! 3. Jade Goody. Bandwagon pick. 4. Elizabeth Edwards. Cancer ward. 5. Wendy Richards. Ibid. 6. Farrah Fawcett. Will this be her year? Or will those experimental German cancer treatments do the trick? 7. Susan Atkins. My “I hope you rot” pick. 8. Seve Ballesteros. Recuperating at home, but you never know. 9. Abdel Basset Ali al-Megrahi. OK, one more “I hope you rot” pick. 10. Ted Kennedy. Hanging in there, but for how much longer? 11. John Nash. Low points, but he has to go sometime, right? 12. Morgan Tsvangirai. Will he successfully share power with Mugabe? Or will he score big points for me? 13. Steve Jobs. Nobody believes that you ditched MacWorld because you were “too busy,” dude.
