[Jeff Komlo](http://msn.foxsports.com/nfl/story/9357312/Fugitive-ex-NFL-QB-killed-in-Greece-crash?MSNHPHMA), who starred at quarterback for the University of Delaware football team and later spent five seasons in the NFL, has been pronounced dead at the age of 52. Komlo had been a fugitive since failing to appear for sentencing on two drunken driving convictions in 2005. He was killed in an auto accident in Greece, and his identity was confirmed only after suspicions that he might have faked his death. ---

Father Joseph Martin passed away last week. Not really a “celebrity” but very well known in the [recovery community](http://www.fathermartin.com/). He was a great man in his quiet way. ---

Larry Plover died this week. He was a local celebrity. He was the founder and original owner of The Chance, a well-known regional music venue. Sort of the Poughkeepsie equivalent of Hilly Kristal. ---
