I have become a terrible person because of this game. I was at the gym, and they had Fox News running on the TV. No sound, just the whole “closed captioning” thing. I glance up, and they are talking about the former president of Pakistan, who WAS a good ally in the War on Terror, who WAS standing beside President Bush, etc. etc. All this past tense, and I literally got a bit giddy, that I would FINALLY get some dang points. Nope. He’s fine. Just referencing his past tense self in a “he did this stuff before now” kind of way, and not a “WAS because he’s nothing but worm food now” kind of way. I was so disappointed. ---

Every time I hear a news report of some celebrity suffering a health problem, I get all excited and rub my hands together gleefully and add them to my file of potential '10 picks. I don’t even feel bad about this anymore. ---
