Well, aside from ushering Walter Cronkite into his last deadline and getting a unique pick for the brave Corazon Aquino, I have breathed life into everybody on my 2009 list. Here are the people for 2010; this year, Iā€™m going for a bit more youthfulness (relax, Robert Morgenthau), although many perennials are still there: 1. George H.W. Bush, 41st President 2. Ariel Sharon, still only officially alive for nearly four years now 3. George Steinbrenner, couldnā€™t come up from Florida for the World Championship, not a good sign 4. Peter Falk, suffering from Alzheimerā€™s (9/16/27) 5. Amy Winehouse, pulling a Joplin 6. Margaret Thatcher, Baroness (10/13/25) 7. Elizabeth Edwards, wronged wife and cancer sufferer (7/13/49) 8. Kim Jong-il, although Obama doesnā€™t need this on his plate too 9. Bryant Gumbel, lung cancer is nasty (9/29/48) 10. Paul Gascoigne, ex-soccer player, sorry Gazza (5/27/67) 11. Ruth Bader Ginsburg, see #8 about Obamaā€™s plate 12. Maura Tierney (with regret, huge NEWSRADIO fan) 13. Nancy Reagan Alternates: Andy Dick, evidently the Abe Vigoda of his generation Dick Cheney.
