> [@Shirley\_Ujest](#): > > Yes. Making it the greatest Hail Mary And Pass The KoolAid Pass EVAR. Speaking of Hail Marys, Rush Limbaugh was on my list from early in the month, but he was going to be just the Hail Mary pick. Who knew it was going to become a bandwagon pick? He appears to be getting better, but I think his drug consumption will catch up with him eventually. BTW I’m not talking just about illegal drugs here, pain does not disappear all of the sudden, and something had to replace the Oxycontin. But I think that like Michael Jackson, Rush’s doctors could have a hard time saying no to higher doses of what he is getting now. ---

I’ve benched my 2009 survivors for failing to “live” up to expectations. I will jump on the Zelda Rubinstein bandwagon, even though she is significantly older than any of my other picks. So, in order of age: Matt Cook Orlando Thomas Eleanor Mondale Deborah Peagler Irwin Barker Brian Lenihan Pat Burns Doug Fieger Simon MacCorkindale Abdelbaset Ali Mohmed Al Megrahi Diane Allen Ruth McClendon Zelda Rubinstein Alternates: Kathryn Joosten Stefano Borgonovo [Previous page](https://boards.straightdope.com/t/the-celebrity-death-pool-2010/519574.md?page=21) [Next page](https://boards.straightdope.com/t/the-celebrity-death-pool-2010/519574.md?page=23)
