The story I heard on NPR this morning (I think it was NPR - I listen to one station on my clock radio, and then NPR in my car and it was pre-coffee for both) mentioned that after he survived the 2nd bombing, he stated that he felt it was his duty to share what it was like with TPTB so that they wouldn’t be tempted to make others live through what he did. IIRC, that included him writing to Obama after he became President. ---

Not to be morbid or anything, but are there stats on the quickest/latest Opening Kickoff Award? I won the final hours award a couple years back, with Benazir Bhutto. A unique pick at that! ---

I think there should be a **Close, but no Cigar** award for anyone me who has someone die but is on their alternate list. ---
