[George Strickland](http://www.cleveland.com/ohio-sports-blog/index.ssf/2010/02/former_cleveland_indians_short_1.html), an infielder who spent most of his Major League Baseball career with the Cleveland Indians, has died at the age of 84. After his playing days ended, Strickland spent several years on the Indians’ coaching staff, and served two stints as interim manager. ---
