The Jackson Five did have a variety show on TV back in the seventies. It’s mentioned on their [wikipedia page](http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Jackson_5), about halfway down. ---

Two of the USA’s oldest women [died Sunday](http://latimesblogs.latimes.com/afterword/2010/03/oldest-americans-die-on-the-same-day.html). Mary Josephine Ray, who had been the oldest person in the country, was 114. Daisey Bailey, a relative youngster, officially passed on at 113, although her family claimed she was born in 1895. ---
