I’ve thought about having Linkletter on my list for years. It was never worth the few points. Besides, he looked like he was going to live to be 100. Did anyone have Britany Murphy’s husband? Was he even a celebrity? ---

He was a screenwriter and producer with several legitimate credits; it’s more newsworthy that he died so soon after his wife, but _Factory Girl_ was a pretty high-profile production though it didn’t do well financially, and he died at 39. It would have made the AP anyway. ---
