Do they go to Mime School to be mimes, or do they go because they’re actors and they want to be better actors? Mime **is** important in acting; it’s not all about the dialogue. ---

Y’all are forgetting her most notable accomplishment - her comeback in the early 70s (late 60s?) from the stroke that almost killed her. \* The Homecoming\* was her first post stroke appearance. I was quite disappointed when they cast Michael Learned in her role for the TV version - \*The Waltons \*. Neal had a much stronger presence than Learned ---

1. Valid picks are not: a. already dead b. a fictional character c. non-human d. under age 18 at death **e. a registered member of the SDMB, 'cause that would be weird** f. political prisoners, 'cause we’re macabre but not THAT macabre. g. famous solely as a result of their illness or associated actions/events. Pertinent rule bolded. That would not be good for any points. And it would be extremely weird. ---

I was just about to post this. According to the story, former NASA administrator Sean O’Keefe was in the same plane. There is a Washington Post story that says they believe five of the nine abord are dead, but that rescue crews have not yet reached the scene. Which suggests at least one radio or cell phone remained intact and at least one person to make a call. The intertubes are shattering. ---
